Good flexibility: HDPE silicon core tube has good flexibility, and its bending radius is small, only 10 times the outer diameter of the tube. In the construction process, it can be bent at will according to the change of terrain, and can adapt to a variety of complex terrain, such as mountain areas and hilly areas, without large-scale ground excavation and finishing work. Strong corrosion resistance: Made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), this material has excellent resistance to acid, alkali, salt and other chemical corrosion properties. The tube samples were soaked in 5% NaCl, 40% H₂SO₄, and 40% NaOH solutions respectively for 24 h. They showed no obvious corrosion. They were suitable for long-term use under various geological and climatic conditions. Good anti-aging performance: HDPE silicon core tube has good anti-ultraviolet and anti-aging performance, and it is not easy to aging and embrittlement under the action of long-term sun and rain and natural environment. Under normal circumstances, its service life can reach more than 50 years, reducing the cost of pipeline replacement and maintenance. Good sealing: The connection method such as hot melt connection or special sealed joint can effectively ensure the sealing of the connection part of the pipeline, prevent moisture, sand and other impurities from entering the pipe, avoid damage to the cable, and ensure that the cable runs in a dry and clean environment. High compressive strength: HDPE silicon core tube has a high ring stiffness, generally ≥50kN/m², can withstand the pressure of the soil and the load of the ground vehicle, in the deep underground or under greater external force, not easy to deformation or rupture, can effectively protect the cable safety in the tube. Good environmental performance: HDPE material is non-toxic and harmless, will not cause pollution to soil, water, etc., and the waste HDPE silicon core tube can be recycled, in line with environmental protection requirements, and is conducive to saving resources and protecting the environment.
HDPE silicon core tube construction method:
Direct buried laying: First of all, excavate the pipe trench according to the design requirements, and the depth of the pipe trench should generally meet the relevant standards and design specifications to ensure the safe buried depth of the pipeline. Then put the HDPE silicon core tube directly into the pipe groove, and the pipe should be placed neatly to avoid distortion and deformation. In the process of pipeline laying, attention should be paid to protecting the pipeline from damage, especially the outer surface of the pipeline and the silicon core layer. After laying, backfill the pipe trench. The backfill soil should be compacted in layers to avoid direct contact with hard objects such as large stones, so as to avoid pipeline damage. Manhole installation: On the laying route of the HDPE silicon core tube, determine the position of the manhole according to the design requirements. The foundation of the manhole should be tamped to ensure that it has sufficient carrying capacity. Then install manhole ring and manhole cover, well ring should be level with the ground, manhole cover should be installed firmly, easy to open and close. Inside the manhole, the fixing device of the pipeline should be set up, and the HDPE silicon core tube should be fixed in the manhole to ensure the stability and tightness of the pipeline. At the same time, drainage and moisture-proof measures should be taken inside the manhole to prevent damage to the pipeline caused by water. Cable blowing construction: First put the prepared optical cable tray in the appropriate position, and then introduce one end of the optical cable into the HDPE silicon core tube. Special cable blowing equipment is used to blow the cable into the silicon core tube through high pressure air flow. In the process of blowing the cable, the pressure and speed of the blowing cable should be reasonably adjusted according to the length of the pipeline, the degree of bending and the characteristics of the cable, so as to ensure that the cable can smoothly advance in the silicon core tube.
